How do tenants in Kenya pay?
Each rent invoice carries a payment link, so a tenant can settle by M-Pesa and Airtel Money or card from their phone. The receipt posts itself and the tenant's statement updates immediately.
Does it handle deposits?
Properly. A deposit is held as the tenant's money rather than counted as rent, can be applied to arrears or damages when a tenancy ends, and what is left is refunded with the whole history on record.
What about residential versus commercial rent?
Tax treatment is set per lease, so residential lettings and commercial ones on the same portfolio are billed correctly - including the withholding tax a tenant deducts where that applies.
